Don't get me wrong, I agree this shouldn't be subscription based, but what about us '25/'26'ers...

yep popped up on my google notifications yesterday.. there's always going to be something they add.. 26 got nice warranty and spray bedliner.. 27 will get 360 surround and remote start for 10y, but not 100k powertrain warranty

Otherwise, I agree. It sucks to see the same truck with new offerings, but then again we all happily purchased our 25s so we’re all just experiencing FOMO. Ram doesn’t owe us anything they didn’t advertise when we purchased.

Rest easy knowing the 27s are close to 10% higher out the door price than early 25s. You can buy a whole lot of warranty and subscription with that money, or choose to use it on more wise expenditures.

as far as I read they didn't announce it yet, but the TRX's that are now sitting at dealers have 5y/60k miles powertrain warranty so would think it will be same with other models

Yeah I'll happily take the better warrant over remote start from phone. It was nice to have but I never once used it. Had it on my Silverado for 5 years and only used it as a stupid useless flex to show off. When that subscription ended I didn't notice for over a year. Maybe this is how they justify the absurd price increase

I didn't really use it at all before, but with a 8 month old during summertime it's been pretty helpful. Once the cooler weather starts I'll stop paying monthly and then start back up again next summer. It would be nice to have for free though.

Like mentioned before, I knew when I bought the truck it wasn't going to be free and I'd have to pay, but the initial price wasn't the ridiculous price it is now.

You can if your fob is in range. You can remote start your truck with the Ram app from anywhere. Its internet based. Comes in handy in South Florida. I start my truck from the check out area at the supermarket every time I shop.

Mine is a 26, but i have the 10 yr complimentary options in my Ram app.
