2025 RAM RHO
Have some time so I wanted to share a quick 10k mile update. I'm actually close to 11k. Miles will decrease significantly now that I don't have a long work commute.

Ordered the truck early January and picked it up March 17 from Rob and his team at Tuttle Click Irvine. Best buying experience ever. Base trim; just added the bed utility group. $70k out the door. Sold my 2019 F-150 and made the switch to RAM. No regrets.

Let's start with the issues I've had so far.
  1. Leaking transmission heater - fixed by dealership (took 10 days)
  2. Dent on passenger door from transit - fixed by dealership at same time as heater above
  3. Pulling to the right - software update fixed it
  4. Warning illumination light not available message - brought it up to dealership and performed some type of software update but will still show up
  5. Emergency braking system not available message (mostly when towing) - have not talked to dealership about it, maybe sensor was just dirty, or the towing played a part
  6. At night, when I put in reverse the UConnect screen turns the brightness to the highest setting - have not talked to dealership about it
  7. The automatic day/night brightness for cluster and Uconnect screen lag or do not adjust accordingly - have not talked to dealership about it
  8. Lag when changing between screens in the cluster and RPMs - have not talked to dealership about it
  9. Wireless charger is useless - I don't use it
  10. Apple CarPlay can be a pain in the ass - have had to reset the radio a few times
Restarting the truck will fix most of these. Mechanically, it has been perfect (knock on wood). Electrical seems to be the "major" problem.

Battery is usually around 13.7-14.5

I'm averaging around 15mpg combined. I can get close to 18mph highway if I drive like a normal average human being...or like someone that thinks a Prius is a real car.

Mods so far:
  1. Ceramic window tint
  2. Westin electric steps
  3. MagnaFlow xMOD Cat-Back exhaust
  4. Retractable tonneau cover
This truck is a beast, first 0-60 run was 4.6s. I love everything about it, even with the issues I've had and electrical bugs I'm still dealing with from time to time, I would not go back to Ford or trade for any other truck. My dream truck was always the Raptor, but I feel the RHO is way better in every category...interior, performance, looks, etc.

5. I had that come up as well a few times when I towed or had the stuff in the bed, since it only gave me the emergency brake warning at those times I figured it had something to do with the sensors/ride height changed since now it was more nose high.

Yes. I'm sure the towing and stuff I had in the bed caused this.

Please tell us more about the exhaust and tonneau cover. How do you like them? Please excuse my ignorance, but what does 1651 stand for?

Love the exhaust - full disclosure before the keyboard warriors come out - I worked for MF and my truck was used for R&D. I have the xMOD system (#19691) with valves and xTreme delete setup. No drone and personally I think it sounds great...some will say I'm biased, whatever.

Tonneau, I got from my brother that works for Westin - it was a sample they had from a like 3 years ago (not currently being sold by Westin). I love the style, the only thing I don't like is, it takes up some space when retracted.

1651 is our race car number. That is the class we race under. Desert racing, like the Baja 500, 1000, etc. We do some races here in the US as well, around Lucerne Valley and Johnson Valley.

what is the deal with the wireless charger I wasn't able to charge my phone either, then someone suggested to turn it upside down (15 Pro Max) and it worked once and since then nothing after several attempts and repositions. Drove a BMW when truck was in the shop and you just lay the phone on a tray anywhere and it charges.

Thanks for the update...I have only had item number 10...and told the August OTA will fix this!

Wireless car charging is worthless on all vehicles I have owned...phone gets hot takes for ever to charge.

No clue. From what Ive seen online, wireless charging in cars just suck most of the times...especially if you are streaming music or using maps/gps on your phone

Hopefully...I use Apple carplay every time I get in the truck and it is not the best...it is worse when it is super hot outside for some reason too...weird.

Yes I hope update fixes it!

For those of us that are still confused. This video has several different sound clips for several different exhaust configurations that all have the same part number 19691. For clarification which system do you have?

2:11 in that clip is the configuration I selected - OE valve mid pipes xtreme delete.

Kit 19691 is modular and comes with 6 different configurations…hence the name “xMOD”

You can open the installation instructions from the website and it will make more sense.

Are you using Irvine for service ? My 6 month is coming up and weighing my options of taking it there for oil change / tire rotation or just doing it myself

I took it to another Ram dealership just because of timing and location then. It was $150 oil change and tire rotation. I just don't have the time or place to do it so I figured $150 wasn't terrible…they did a good job. Im sure Irvine will do a good job too. They took good care of me when fixing the trans heater and the dent/scratch when I first got it.

I like the MF exhaust deeper sound, but I am convinced that they muffled the sounds in the interior on every option after watching and listening again. Curious, did you not like one of the NDT options as that is a draw for me?

Hopefully Borla, MBRP, and Corsa all drop their products soon to give everyone a wider range of selection. The gthaus clip caught my ear too…
