My RHO didn’t include the Bed Utility Package, which I wanted. So, I had Line-X apply their Premium Bedliner and then sourced the following Mopar parts myself:
  • Power Inverter Module: 68302053AF (2kW inverter, not the 400W)
  • Inverter Power Outlet (bed mount/400w): 68626789AA
I now have both parts in hand. However, when I visited the dealership to schedule the installation, the response I received was… unexpected. They suggested I take it to a local RV shop. I told them I wasn’t comfortable with that—I’ve already dealt with electrical gremlins on this truck, and I don’t want to risk voiding my warranty. I specifically want this installed by an authorized dealer.

That’s when they told me something strange: they weren’t sure if RAM or Mopar had released the wiring harness that connects the inverter in the cab to the outlet in the bed. This struck me as odd, since some RHOs come with the 400W 115V bed plug via the Bed Utility Group, which would require a harness from the cab to the bed.

So I started digging. The only harnesses I’ve been able to find so far are those related to trailers. I can’t find a standalone Mopar part number for the inverter-to-bed outlet harness.

Has anyone here successfully installed this setup after the factory?
Is there a specific part number for the cab-to-bed inverter harness?
Did I buy OEM parts that no one in the Dallas/Fort Worth area can install without voiding my warranty? Is Mopar selling parts that cannot be installed because the connecting harness is not available?

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

WTF man, I feel like dealerships will do anything in their power to get out of doing any sort of work or helping customers.

It’s crazy to think that service departments forget that “service “ is in the name. When the “Service Advisor “ suggested I go to an RV service center, admitting that this would have an impact on the warranty I walked out wondering the same: where did the service in service departments at a dealership go? I could not believe the conversation and time resulted in “we can’t help you but here is how you can get it resolved as well as void your warranty!” 🧐🤨😳

I’m going to go with connecting harness is not available. This would also explain not being able to order a truck with the 2000 watt inverter. You did say 2K inverter not 400 W.

It’s interesting that you were able to order the 2000 W inverter. I’m not sure if they would use the same outlet. But it might make sense due to the pre-existing pre-sized hole in the truck bed. Hopefully they will release the rest of the parts necessary to add that later And not require you to replace a main harness. I’m curious what the 2000 W inverter cost you

Yes, the 2kW inverter was "offered" on the 2025 RHO, but no one got one because they had a supply chain issue or something and didn't ship but a few of them I think I read (I have been wrong once before, don't quote me - lol) - all I know was it was difficult to obtain.

They are also offering it on the 2026 RHO, but now these 2kW inverters can be purchased directly from Mopar, which I have done. The outlet in the bed is a 400W outlet, the same as most trucks that are shipped with the Bed Group. The wiring is no different. Where the 2kW becomes helpful is when several items draw power from each "400W" outlet within the vehicle, which was my intention. Rather than having to ensure I wasn't overloading the stock 400W inverter that ships in most of the trucks, I wanted to ensure I have a full 400W per outlet, which is why I purchased the 2kW inverter.

The 2kW inverter replaces the 400W inverter and uses the same plugs as the in-cab 400W outlets. The issue is finding a Mopar wiring harness to run the 400W back to the bed, as is done at the factory when the Bed Group package is purchased.

Apparently, Mopar didn't think someone would order and have this installed from the cab to the bed? They probably assumed people would replace the 400W for the 2kW Inverter, or have to replace the bed outlet, but probably didn't think someone would do what I wanted to do, which was put it in to the bed, when this wasn't factory-installed to begin with.

Inverter Power Outlet 68626789aa $95.13
Power Inverter Module 68302053af $237.54

So you got me questioning the inverter - so I called Brunswick, which is the outlet that shipped it to me. Apparently, its the 400W, the 2kW still isnt available. I got the number from the Mopar chat, and apparently it was wrong. I bought a 400W inverter (facepalm) - glad I didnt open it....

The 2kw is not offered on the '26 RHO.
It is completely omitted from the code guide and ordering software.

But that's irrelevant now lol based on the later post that in your hands is actually a 400w anyhow.

Yeah, we all get why the 2000 W option would be better. Personally, we would use it for electric bikes. 400 W isn’t enough for a lot of items even if you had them plugged in one at a time.
So are you saying that if somebody has the bed utility group all they have to do is swap the inverter out and they’re good to go?

That’s funny I was just gonna post basically what you said. I am literally sitting at the parts counter of my local dealership and they told me that number you posted is actually a 400 W inverter not 2000.
