2025 Ram
I have a 2025 Ram that has had a check engine light 47 times. It is for misfire #300 which is emissions issues. I being told just keep driving it even when flashing . They can't answer what happens if the check engine light is for another issue and I do serious damage. Any ideas?

Find another dealer?

I forgot to mention there's only 8000 miles on it.

I did they all say just drive until they find a computer correction.

Find an attorney. I'm only half kidding.

This could be a legit lemon law issue.

I am going to take it for state inspection and when it fails for the check engine light, I will give it to Dodge and let them figure it out. Lemon law is in the works as well.

That's hard to believe

The dealer is the one that printed the failure list for me. They are tired of the issues. They are sold one last week that is having the same issues. He said that majority of the their sales are complaining about it. I can't believe they are still selling defective trucks.

I would suggest that dealership give up all RHO allocations if it’s as bad as you described. In fact I would say it is a dealerships duty NOT to sell any RHOs.

Well if the arbitration does not go my way, I will file a complaint with the state attorney general over it. They should not be allowed to sell them.

If it comes to that, start a class action lawsuit thread.

What’s the dealership name? They obviously won’t be mad if you share if that’s how they feel.

Consider contacting Stellantis. I believe there were some points of contact listed somewhere in this forum.

lol - so the dealer told you to keep driving it even with a flashing cel? Maybe I have misunderstood your situation but if a dealer told you to drive any car with a flashing cel should be out of business. Flashing cel means don’t drive it. Maybe you mean it will come and go (the cel)?

2 different dealers told me that it is okay to drive it.

What was it about CEL #47 that motivated you to seek out this forum, make a profile, and ask for advice?

That is frigging wild dude.
My reaction as well. I would imagine this fault is either related to the cats or injectors. Either way I would not be driving the truck. I would also notify RAM they have dealers telling clients to operate vehicles with flashing CELs. Wild.

Basically, looking for any information that is out there about this. According to both dealers it is a common problem with all the Rams being sold.

The issue is sent to them every time that they checked it
No, you can call Stellantis and try and get a customer retention agent to expedite your issues. The idea would be that you call them, explain you have a truck that has thrown a blinking cell 40+ times in 8000 miles...and that the dealers told you to keep driving your truck (I hope you have that in writing/text etc). Then get them to compensate you for your issues or expedite your buyback process.

I am surprised in 8000 miles you have not already lemon'ed it or sold it.
