I am currently torn between getting a 2025 rebel with 12.5 off and 4.9 financing or ordering an RHO with discounts and hoping for a good interest rate. Getting a rebel for 55-59k is very enticing.

Those of you with a newer rebel, what are your thoughts? I test drove one the other day and fell in love with the ride and handling. It put my old f150 and Silverado to shame.

3rd option is wait a year and be in a better position financially and only finance a little and get an RHO. But I've never been a patient person.

Guess it's the rho forum... so I should say rho, but those rebates on the rebel are pretty good looking.

Having said that, RHO.

I’m really interested in the HO Hurricane, which isn’t available in the Rebel. That would be a deal breaker for me.

It’s all about the wide body of the RHO for me, so Rebel doesn’t do it. I suppose it’s a nice 1500 pickup with an off-road theme. Not a bad thing if that’s what makes you happy.

The rebal is a great price but have to wait for that RHO.

Being as I ordered my RHO in April and still D status I would have canceled and got a Rebel but my brother in law has one so I can't lol. RHO is a better looking truck plus the H.O.

To me, $10k off a RHO (through one of the dealers on this forum) or $12.5k off a Rebel, are pretty comparable deals, as far as amount off of sticker. $2.5k isn't enough to make me pick the Rebel over a RHO. As for the financing, that all depends on how much you plan on financing and for how long. And also, do you need it now, or just want something now?

I don't necessary need anything now. Just want a truck again lol. I'm in a civic now and I'm losing my mind. I had a long commute, 100 miles a day and the gas was killing me so I parted with my f150.

I like both trucks but the capabilities of the RHO keep me lusting after it. That being said, I also probably don't need a truck that can do jumps either haha.

I’m going from a 2020 rebel to 2025 rho. I. Have loved the truck and it’s been vey good to to me for 105k. I just want to get away from the maintenance of my Ecodiesel and love the wide body of the rho. I don’t think you can go wrong either way. I fell in love with a granite trx parked outside my house a few months back. Loved the truck but no way was I gonna drive it 23k year. When the rho I knew it was for me. Good luck man.

I was going to get the 2025 Rebel before the RHO was announced, it's an awesome truck, very nice on the inside and does a great job towing.

Once the RHO was announced, I no longer cared about the Rebel because I'd be adding a lift, suspension, engine mods, etc. eventually so it'd all come out to the same price.

A local dealer is bringing in a Rebel X and I'm gonna take a look at it. I really want my RHO that I have on order, but it looks like I won't be getting it until 2025 and I've already been without a vehicle since June. I've been borrowing my brother's car and it's getting embarrassing. I wish I could at least hear some good news about my order, but I've been in D status since June.

If you're looking at an INSTOCK rebel you should be able to get more than 12.5% off using dealer discount as well as dealer incentives (background cash coupons for inventory reduction).
If you're ordering, 12.5% is a great dealer discount (we're doing 11.5% off rebels plus some extra for affiliate, for reference)

The 4.9% interest rate however is not necessarily your best deal. To get that, you're giving up an available $4000 in rebates at a minimum, or $5K if you have a TDM coupon (popup coupon on the ramtrucks.com site). The national average for new car loans has been 7.1% for the last three months running according to Edmunds. I'm not sure what the average length was for that % but lets assume 66 (I feel like 60 used to be most common, but see more 72s now). You'd have to be borrowing more than $60K for 66 months at 7.1% or greater to make it worth giving up that $4K in rebate. If you are someone who EVER pays extra, or early, that threshold gets lower on the amount financed, or higher on the alternative APR. I'm doing this all rather back-of-napkin so feel free to double check math. My point really is just that there are options that may work better or worse depending on your own financial situation (trade, cash down, and credit). What gets advertised in your region may be different based on what the most popular methods of purchase are (cash value, promo apr, or lease) but the $ all comes from big daddy Stellantis and just about evens out.

Since May 8. I feel your pain

RHO vs Rebel are two completely different vehicles. If you want the RHO, but tired of waiting, that equals regret in the future. Just wait it out, the truck will be worth it. You won't be able to do badass off-roading in the Rebel as you can in the RHO. You will total your Rebel...not to mention we will smoke your ass on the street.

Something to think about if you are a potential Rebel buyer…I may get booed off this forum, but the comparable F-150 Tremor is a nicer truck, IMHO. You can get a great V8 & Torsten limited slip front diff. Interior is a slight step below Ram, but that V8 sound can’t be beat.

I sat in a Bright Yellow loaded Rebel at the dealer, to get a feel for a RAM pickup.

It was a beautiful truck.

But I still went with the RHO. I fell in love with the RHO interior, more than anything.

Wait till you see it in person.

After seeing in riding in the RHO at the Texas state fair I believe it’s going to he just as much fun if not more than my TRX. The sound of the TRX isn’t there but it was a blast to ride in. To me there is no comparison from the Rebel to the RHO. I was getting the itch to think about something different seeing how my order was confirmed on May 7th, but after putting hands on the RHO I’m fully committed to the wait for it. Just my 2 cents.

May 8. Same. I crawled around an RHO at the Miami Beach Auto Show. Definitely better than a Rebel for my taste.
