Will be going to the dealer for oil change soon, and have some things he might have to look into. Did anyone else experience these?

1) when wheels are turned right, and I start driving forward, I hear a clunk noise, possibly comming somewhere from the front driver wheel. Sometimes it hapens even if I coming to stop sign and have hit brake more than usually

2) another sound the truck makes is anytime I press brake, sounds comes from the brake pedal area, really annoying (truck was doing this since I got it)

3) noticed that sometimes when driving and I let go gas and then hit it when accelerating it feels like there is a delay and then feel like something like kick.. this might be just how the transmission and 4x4 behaves I never had ram in 4x4

That last one sounds an awful lot like the infamous driveshaft clunk. Many of us in the TRX group have replaced our driveshafts with an aftermarket one since Ram can’t seem to figure out how to fix the OEM one.

First might be the tie rod end tsb or something similar,
Second. Could be the motor thing on the brakes? Does it also make noise if u have the acc braking?

Thanks will check the TRX forum!

yes it makes the same sound when it truck brakes itself in cruise mode

check the front CV boots for tears and leaks. My driveline/transmission is getting pretty clunky too.

@Nick797 - do you know if the East Coast Drivelines 1500 HP driveshaft fits on the RHO? Starting to sound like they will need this too.

They do offer one for the RHO! I want to grab one for mine because the clunk is driving me insane.

We just did a group buy for the TRX guys if you guys are into that!

Is this an annoyance thing or does it harm something?

Does that clunk during off/on throttle occur only when the transmission downshifts, or even when it stays in the same gear?

I’ve noticed mine clunks especially when in sport mode as I’m rolling towards a stop. Almost like it holds 2nd or 3rd too long and clunks when it shifts down. I notice this far more when transmission is in sport mode.

More so just an annoyance. My old 5th gen base truck did it too. I replaced the driveshaft a bunch of times under warranty when i was at the dealer..ended up just packing grease in the front of it like the old GMT800s.

Mine does this too though I was weirdly thinking I noticed it less in sport. It's the shift from 3rd to 2nd, every time.
