Hello everyone I bought a brand new RHO in February and have had several issues with dead battery. Left me stranded on my first trip at 900 miles, had to jump the truck every morning to get going, of course many warnings and check engine light on die to low voltage.
Took it to the dealer on my return they replaced both batteries and 2-3 weeks later truck was dwad again when I was going to work. Took the truck back into the dealer had it there for over a week and they said they did a software update. Took the truck home and was going for another 300 mile trip when surprise! Battery dead again the morning of my trip, so I called the dealer they gave me a loaner and took my trip in that.
I am very frustrated already and I think I made a huge mistake buying this truck.
Anyone else having these issues??

On my 3rd set of batteries. Service dept says if modules don’t shut off when parked, it will kill the batteries.

You might ask…why might the modules remain on? It’s a communication thing. If you have a bad communications connection or faulty module, you will end up with a dead battery.

A few on this forum have swapped the OEM batteries for aftermarket & no further problems. Maybe the battery swap fixed my bad connection or prevented module failure. IDK.

Mine was “fixed” by tightening the communication cable between the camera above the rear view mirror & ADAS module that interprets the images.

Where is the ADAS module?

Ok guys after 36 days at the dealership and leaving me stranded 3 times these are the reports, they claim they fixed it. I don’t have high confidence they did but only time will tell I guess. If this happens 1 more time I am doing the lemon law on it no more wasting my time.
