I’ve been looking for a couple months vocally here in Indiana and the dealers had a few scheduled to come in and one Dealer actually had one on the lot, but nobody actually wanted a deal.
The one Dealer suggested I look for a friends and family code but when I did that someone put me onto Mark Dodge. Without a doubt, probably the easiest purchase I have ever made. I end up flying down to New Orleans and meeting them at the airport, they gave me the car keys and I spent two days in New Orleans and then drove home..
The local Dealer had one coming in and after a week of trying to purchase it the best they would do would be the $2000 incentives off the sticker. They pretty adamant that they could offer it for more. They called me on my way back to tell me they had received it in. I told him I’d purchased mine from Mark Dodge for nearly 10 K under stickerand then told me that they actually had marked it $5000 below sticker with the invoice included. It really annoyed me that we spent a week arguing back-and-forth over the price and they were never going to get less than 2000 but I let them know that I purchased from Mark Dodge.
The other somewhat local Dealer was kind of shifty and they’d give me 3K off sticker, but then they kept “forgetting” about the incentives.
End of the day I moved my Rivian R1 S to my forged blue RHO. The auto drive is way better than the Rivian. The Rivian was definitely a great vehicle though.
I’ll be moving back to my position as a forum stalker….
Oh yeah, and Mark Dodge did stick the dealership sticker on the back which I peeled off at the airport
