2022 Ram 1500 express regular cab short bed
Hi I am new to the forum and would like to know if anyone knows of any dealers in the northeast offering 3 or 4 % below invoice pricing on special orders?I know Mark Ram has great pricing but they are pretty far away and shipping would be pretty expensive. I live in Massachusetts and back in 2021 I ordered a TRX from Chapman in Pennsylvania. They had very aggressive pricing at 4% below invoice and they even price protected the order with no deposit. I just sent them an email to see if they are doing similar deals these days. I would love to find a dealer in Mass or NH that would do these kind of deals. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Ordered mine from Central Chrysler Jeep Dodge MSRP was $86,015 and they got down to $77,720 with registration and doc fee of $727. Honestly, more worried what they are going to offer for a trade.

This is my concern. I’m trading in a Ram 2500 diesel and the trade-in value seems to be dropping fast because Ram is discounting their heavy duty so much right now. I was told that once those discounts and my value might go back up crossing my fingers.

Yup! Trading a 2019 RAM 1500 Rebel the last couple months seemed to drop $1k a month, waiting to see what happens come January.

Thank you. I will definitely reach out to them.

I've ordered from Koon's down in VA. This will be my 3rd vehicle from them. Not that bad of a trip from NJ.

I initially was going to do this but they won't sell to certain states including MA.

Has anyone in Mass or Nh found a dealer willing to discount 5% below invoice similar to Mark Ram? Someone chimed in that he got a good deal at Central. Thanks

any update on dealers in the northeast offering discounts?

I was in the business for 12 years in sales, finance and sales manager. How in the world can dealers sell for $10K below MSRP? I know you have hold back there, and you may charge $995 for paperwork, but that still doesn’t make up the difference needed to make a buck. Just curious.

Simple....Loose a little on each one, but make it up in volume!
Btw...I don't quite understand it either......

It only works if you do it on repeat.
If you sold 4-5 of these well below hb, you're losing your butt.
If you do dozens, hundreds, etc - ALL of the other little areas of revenue start to average things out.
We end up making a very small profit on any one single transaction, but with a lot more transactions than the average dealership.
The general concept is economy of scale, but there are lot of complexities that feed into it.

With so many people not living locally, you can’t get svc work, parts, oil changes etc I was just curious. I’m surely not throwing shade on any of the dealerships that are doing it. Hope you make a ton. It was just something on my mind. And like the old Arsineo Hall, it was one of those things that make you go hmmmmm.
