Brakes seem to be a little weak for the size and weight of the truck
When stopping, feels like I'm really pushing on the pedal, when I shouldn't be.
It's really noticeable to me.
Wondering if I should bring it in and have them looked at.
Anybody else experiencing this?

Been looking into a big brake kit for the RHO.
At least bigger front rotors, and calipers. Then go from there.

Actual stopping power is fine, better than expected for a truck this size, even.

Agree that pedal response is rather dull, but that is probably by design - offroading with touchy brakes could be problematic.

Not an issue once you get used to it, IMO.

As far as brakes go, the brakes on the RHO definitely feel more capable than the 2024 Raptor I traded in. The pedal in the Raptor felt firmer but I could feel the brakes fighting the weight of the truck even if the Raptor is lighter. In testing the RHO stops shorter than the Raptor my buttometer seems to support that. Could also be the narrower tires of the Raptor. The OEM BFG's for the Raptor are a bit undersized in diameter and width vs other tires with the same size specs.

I am still new to my RHO with 550 miles. I have had a couple of bugs but things that corrected themselves. Instrument cluster didn't turn on once (luckily CarPlay shows speed) but returned to normal after locking/unlocking the truck. I did have the headlight buzzing the night I drove it home but not last time I checked. Perhaps it needs to be on for a bit longer.

Other than an issue updating over-the-air updates and losing GPS signal that was corrected with a short dealer visit my Raptor was problem free in 23k miles of driving. I will say the features I missed in my previous 19' Longhorn and 21' F150 KR were sorely missed and the RHO checks all the boxes for al three trucks. The RHO has all the best features of these trucks including long travel suspension, extremely adjustable seats w/massage, hand free driving, and newest tech. Maybe I'm getting old, but I don't miss the louder than necessary exhaust of the Raptor though the tone is better.

A few small headaches are expected being the first year of this platform, but I hope it is limited to that.
