Yep! I feel the same, but this is my biz partners truck he has a cabin out in the middle of no where and just wanted some extra space to keep stuff when he goes out there and not have to bring his little trailer anymore. Also can toss a tent on it for local small adventures

To be fair, they built fiberglass pieces to add onto a product they already had to market, which sits a little higher than the cab so you can put accessories on it. The fiberglass roof also has T slots built in that bolt to the top metal frame to be able to continue to utilize that clearance.

Ah! yeah it is flush with the tail gate like a bed cover would be. I do see what you mean from a visual standpoint

Oof, I mean I get it from a practical standpoint, but I have an A.R.E. on mine because I need it for work and fitment is night and day difference in the way it looks. Idk, I couldn’t be rolling looking like that on this truck, no offense.
