How do we select sport mode for transmission in Auto Mode? Or sport or Baja mode for anything for that matter? It won’t let me?

You do not. Those are not allowed in auto for whatever reason.

You'll have to use Custom if you want that.

This is going back a while so correct me if I’m wrong… but I thought I’d read Baja turns off airbags. If that’s true, that’s the only reason I can think they wouldn’t allow it to be always in Baja mode as an AUTO drive selection.

Ok yea that makes sense thanks

I haven’t done it for a while, but in the past I was able to customize the Auto setting. There’s a “setup” button at the bottom of the screen. Old picture below.
Is this not an available option anymore?

It is but certain modes are not allowed in Auto setup. Sport trans being one of the more confusing ones.

I can change any suspension, steering and transmission mode in auto. Even while I'm driving on the fly. Only thing I can't change is stability.

You can set your transmission to sport and your suspension to Baja in auto? Got a pic?

I haven't been able to change to sport trans in auto mode either...we're being gaslit. 🤣

Alright, my bad, sorry for the false hope. I can change everything except transmission and stability in Auto. There are a lot of other posts where people say they can't change suspension, but I definitely can. I have my custom set up with a Sport transmission when I want to rip.

Can you change suspension to Baja, though?

You can in "CUSTOM" for sure because that's what I have mine set to. Everything else street with suspension to Baja for really rutted out, in much need of repair back roads around town. BAJA suspension is really soft but also really floaty feeling during quick maneuvers

In auto, YES, I can change my suspension to Baja. I've been going back and forth between the two. I like both but am leaning more towards sport now. It's not as plush but it feels way more planted in turns (less body roll)

Ok I will have to recheck. I was sure that mine didn't allow it in Auto, but I've been wrong before

I can also switch to Baja suspension within "Auto" setup. Been switcing back and forth between baja and street. I agree with @BilletRHO I like street better for street use. Who woulda thunk.
