What do you all plan on using the aux switches for?
Anything specific in mind?More lights lol
Bumper lights and ditch lights. Still researching the brands and learning from TRX group.Anything specific in mind?
I'd love to do some lights but I cannot add any more height to the truck. I'm interested in seeing solutions on this forum I can steal once these trucks start getting delivered.Multiple suns front and back...lol
Not sure the Oracle bumper mounted light bar will work on the RHO. I have that light bar on my TRX, and it requires a flat spot on the bumper (with adequate clearance under the mustache).Oracle lighting has a bar light that I think will fit the new 25' RHO stock front bumper without blocking any sensors. Can be found on their site as: Oracle Lighting 2019-2024 RAM Rebel/TRX Front Bumper Flush LED Light Barb System.
Also looking at Baja Designs kits too: BAJA DESIGNS RAM LP9 PRO BUMPER LIGHT BAR KIT - RAM TRX 1500 2021-23. They also make some nice A-Pilar lights and grill light kits too.
ZROADZ has a nice curved roof light bar: 2019-2024 Ram 1500 Front Roof LED Kit with (1) 50 Inch LED Curved Double Row Light Bar - PN #Z334721-KIT-C Solid build and they are BRIGHT! Big fan of the ZROADZ stuff.
Sick Diesel has some cool stuff too. I will probably add the top grill light that connects the two sides. Will have to see though after I get the truck and see these new headlight's DRL design. Also going to do some undercarriage lighting in white from them (white to match the white finish I chose)
M&R has some cool light racks, but not sure what they will have to fit this new grill / front end design.
and Baja Designs always has some cool offerings too. May grab some backup/reverse lights from them (separate switch for this of course). Front lights will be split between two or three switches. Undercarriage/glow lighting will also be on its own switch.
Will be putting in a sub enclosure and amp from MTI Acoustics under the rear seat. Will mount the sub on the back wall. Use the stock rear sub's connector and order a matching connector for my setup so that I don't have to cut any stock lines. Sub comes with a nice wired remote on/off and adjustment knob that glows in the same amber color as the rest of the TRX/RHO dash lights, so will mount it to blend in and look stock. This way when I trade the RHO later can just plug back into the stock sub and take the box and amp out and sell it.
And use my Magic Box 2.0 so we can watch TV on road trips on that center screen. Don't need a switch for this, but wouldn't mind mounting it down low somewhere and try to hide it (tuck and hide USB-C line).
Good catch. I imagine Oracle will either modify or let us know if this will work or not once the RHO is out and they can get their hands on one to measure. RHO bumper looks to be flat, just not sure of the height clearance as you pointed out.Not sure the Oracle bumper mounted light bar will work on the RHO. Be forewarned - it also requires drilling two honking-big holes into your bumper (for installing rivnuts). So if you're squeamish about making permanent modifications to a brand new truck, this wouldn't be the best option for you. That light looks good may have to add that to my mod list.

I don't think so. I think they function as just on/off circuits. How do the AUX switches work? Can you set them to trigger off of other functions on the vehicle? For example, let’s say I want some lights to be triggered by HI beams, only. Is that possible with the factory AUX switches?
Got it.I don't think so. I think they function as just on/off circuits.
What you're talking about seems more like tapping into some pre existing wiring.
Someone else might chime in and have different info. I'm far from the expert, just what I know at the moment.Got it.
And yes, this is what I did prior. I had a Garmin PowerSwitch which had two signal inputs. In my case I used DRL as one signal and HI beam as my second signal. I used those to program a couple of lights. However, I could also tell the PowerSwitch when to be ON or OFF, so I had the option of causing those AUX lights to be triggered by the signal, or to not be triggered. That was pretty convenient for using off-road lights when off-road, but not having them triggered when on highway.
ON/OFF AUX is definitely less useful than PowerSwitch in this case, at least for how I’d like to run off-road lights.
Set of pink wires wrapped in tape front right side behind headlight, next to main battery. There is a white sticker wrapped around them explain what color goes to which switch number.Where did yall find the wiring kit to hook into harness
Set of pink wires front right corner behind headlight, they are pre relayed and fused...just connect the hot wire of whatever you are trying to power. There are 4 or 5 ground posts up that right side from the headlight to the firewall. Switches 1 & 4 are 50amp, switches 2 & 3 are 20amp.Got it.
