Clapped out Tesla for commuting
I’ve seen a few times now on Facebook,
People claiming to lose braking power while driving. The last one stated the person was on the freeway, the engine rev’d high, then the brakes went out.

What’s the correlation here? I’m not familiar with the braking system on this truck. Anyone else experience this? If there is a known issue, I’d rather not let the wife drive the truck until it’s sorted.

I had this message popped up occasionally for the first month or two of ownership and went away. I brought it up to my dealership on my last visit and they found a loose ground wire and said all good but if it comes back I should bring it in immediately. Never had issues with the brakes but wanted to throw it out there

That’s a scary message!!! Pretty sure I’d park it immediately & call for a tow.

You saw that too? I was like 👀, we doing brake by wire now?

I look the other way on most of the issues we’ve all had because I know eventually they’ll get sorted. But my wife drives the truck 90% of the time and I don’t want her to worry about brake failure now lol.
