I wonder how this will impact the already questionable build quality coming off this line. I'm guessing the new RHOs and TRXs might have more issues, being that workers are pissed off, and/or not willing to put forth as much effort...I suppose time will tell. ๐Ÿง

Oh god. This is not good news. Those union auto workers already think they deserve $95,000 a year to do a repetitive motion.

They're 100% going to do a shitty job because of this.

UAW workers have a terrible attitude towards their jobs by default. This is going to make it worse.

Unfortunately I agree...not good news moving forward. To be fair though, it was all the EV vehicles and green bullshit that pushed them into the red...the Hurricane engine has been a pleasant surprise from all that though.

Sad this is even a thing. Iโ€™m sure I speak for most when I say we hate being paid less for the same work. However, with people being cut left and right (Amazon, Walmart, Costco, UPS, etcโ€ฆ) a smaller bonus should be appreciated in the big scheme of things. I miss the times when people produced good work out of principle.

Yes, I think that is the real shift in today's workforce...lack of pride in workmanship.
Over the years, some gigs I made more, some I made less, but it never effected the quality of the effort or show I put forth.

it's the three T's - Tavares, Tariffs and The EV bullshit

the build quality is already pretty bad, if you'll buy base truck you probably get over it, but imagine spending 100k for TRX and having build issues

Honestly, with improvements in humanoid robotics and AI, those overpaid workers are at risk of being replaced. I'm not sure they realize that.
I'm here for it, adapt and get better, or be replaced.

So far I'm impressed with the build quality of my truck...No real issues to speak of, other than the spurious things like Mirrors not staying programmed or these info messages that pop up randomly, but go away by the next trip or restart of the vehicle...:giggle:

ALOT of us got lucky with our builds for sure...you see some of the issues posted and wonder how they passed inspection. That being said, I do feel for the guys going through the BS with problem laden trucks.

This whole dissent into mediocrity all started, unfortunately, when the dodge brothers sued Henry Ford over worker practices.know your history...

Agreed. I wonโ€™t give mine up over cosmetic repair. I rather know I have a new bed panel than constant CELโ€™s.

โ€œIโ€™m not worried. Iโ€™m not worried at all.โ€

10 points to whoever can place that movie quote.
