Has anyone had any CarPlay issues? I don’t want to blame the truck so it might be the I-phone?

This morning I went to the gym and everything good. Got back on the car and CarPlay still shows the last song I played before getting out of the car. Once I got back in the car 90 minutes later, I tried to connect but then nothing comes up on the screen. I turned my phone on and off (I know, old school) but nothing there.

Wondering if there is a way to reset the infotainment? Any pointers would be appreciated! I have 1,100K on the truck and so far 1 issue but I refuse to complaint about it. Now it is messing with my music which is a different issue! Lol

It’s your phone/CarPlay always being an issue. Best thing that I’ve ever done for it is try resetting the infotainment system by holding down the tune and volume button or just keep trying to disconnect your phone and reconnect it by turning your phone off and on again eventually it starts working again. It just takes a little bit of time.

Thanks for getting back to me. I will give it a shot and report back.

Issue solved. I guess I was just turning Uconnect off and on.

The hard reset I had to hold the off for ~ 20 seconds and then it did a hard reset. Working again.
Thanks for your help.

You’re welcome, it prolly will happen again, if the hard reset doesn’t work, keep trying to pair it and unpair it to the car. Use the phone to pair or the car to pair, eventually it stops missbehaving
