CEL but no codes

While driving home I stopped at light, Start/ stop engage I turned it off as I let off the brake.
Got a CEL but no codes truck still has full power stopped at autozone no codes on their stuff
Have anyone dealt with this issue before ?

My code reader didn’t read any codes when my CEL came on but whatever O’Reilly uses pulled some codes. Weird

This happened to me twice in March. Both times I checked with my code reader and no codes. I used it to clear the CEL.
The first time was nearly as described by you: Auto start shut engine off (I forgot to disable). I disabled it, and as soon as I got going the CEL appeared. The second time I was on the highway.
Hasn't happened since.

I also installed the Auto Stop Start Eliminator since then
