I don't even know if its a problem, probably not, but i noticed my coolant temp is roller-costing. i'd be driving for 30min on highway and it would be bellow the middle mark (as most cars) and then as i stop on intersection it would drop to 1st quarter mark, which would make it about 193F to 210F fluctuation (i looked at the gauge)? its probably nothing, but i never seen any other car fluctuate so much. usually it stays a little under middle mark.

Yeah, that happens to mine as well. Mine will goes up to 220° before it starts coming back down. I ended up removing the radiator panel to see if the temps would drop as it would let more air into the engine bay as well. So far I have seen my coolant temp go above 210°

Yes, RHO coolant temp does vary greatly based on conditions/driving demands.

My Hemi would hold fluid temps resolutely. Coolant, oil, trans fluid. I’m thinking it had lots of reserve cooling capacity & I never really pushed it, towing or racing.

I guess the Hurricane engineers felt “reserve cooling capacity” was not needed to maintain performance/longevity.

i also have noticed this 190-220 degrees and lots of fluctuation depending on how im driving.

If I am not towing and its 90f out at 70-75 on highway I go between 204-214. When towing 5-8klbs at 70mpg at 90F I see 210-220F coolant.

Trans temps towing 187F on highway at 70mph...not towing 70mph 181 range. You will like my future video compairing these numbers to a HO Ecoboost!
