Daytime brightness when in Reverse at night???

At night when I go from P to D or viceversa the center screen flickers and wants to set daytime brightness when I put in Reverse or just flickers as I skip it. Is that normal? Didnt do it before just started doing it.

Same thing happened to mine. I changed my screen setting to dark mode. Will see if that works.

My screen behaves differently based on my headlight settings. Auto on head lights makes the screen bright 100% of the time. When Headlights off and headlights, on the screen behaves as it should. I’m gonna try and reset it (reluctantly), by holding the power button for 30 seconds. I’m afraid it’s gonna create more problems.

I guess it has been an issue before with other RAMs...reverse goes full brightness at night even on dark mode and even when you have all the other levels adjusted accordingly...have not been able to find a solution. If it continues to bother me, I guess I'll take to the dealership. It had its first oil service last saturday and they also performed the steering update as it was pulling to the right...then this issue started. Not sure if they are related or if they did some other type of factory reset that Im not aware of but it was not an issue prior to service.
