Dead battery overnight. Wouldn't even unlock. Won't take a jump. Anyone else had this? Any ideas?

Lots of people. I'm monitoring mine now and getting the battery tested at the dealer tomorrow. Did you keep checks on the voltage leading up to this by chance? Like engine running vs engine off voltage readings?

I didn't. Charge on the app looks good

It shows battery charge/voltage on the app?? I've been going out and looking on the dash.

I had my batteries replaced three weeks ago. Truck was completely dead. But now when I start the truck, I see the red battery light momentary for about two seconds about 9 out of 10 times. After that it is gone. The volt meter goes from 0 to initially 14 V, but now it seems to be dropping .1 volt every day. I’m around 13.2 now. Is this an indication of these new batteries dying as well?

13.2 while running or 13.2 while off? 13.2 does seem a bit low while running but I can’t say for sure. If your alternator is running the battery should read above 14v. But I also believe the alternator will go into a float mode if the battery is topped off. Either way it is worth checking with your dealer and seeing what they say. Could have a parasitic drain going on and it may not be the batteries themselves.

No i misinterpreted what I had seen on the app

It was 13.2v when I shut her down last night. Haven’t seen 14v for over a week now. I’m driving around with the voltmeter continuously displayed on the dash!

So 13.2v was with the engine running, correct?
If so, personally, I'd fet new batteries, and unfortunately I would buy them on my own and avoid the dealer

I had my main go at 534 miles. I was charged 24 hours prior also. Came out and had to unlock with the hard key. Jumped it off and went straight to the dealer and got a new battery. It showed 0 CCA on the load test.

Ok... I was having problems with the truck not starting after 5 days of sitting, then 3 days then 1 day ... also had warning lights for sensors. Whatever they were Automatic Emergency Braking and Blind Spot. Sensor problems then prevent the hands free and cruise control from working since they rely on the sensors.

I am able to jump the truck with a Topdon V2200Plus but I get 1 attempt and I have to start the truck right away. A few seconds and the jump pack is lit to 75% and after the jump 25% and beeping angrily.

When the batteries on the truck are too low to start or get any dash functions, the ambers come on and the wipers start moving but really slowly.

The truck was completely dead and I jumped it to take to the dealer. The sensor warning lights were gone. I just recently had the 200 CCA Auxiliary battery replaced. Service did not replace the 700 CCA main battery. Said the batteries were covered to 3y 36k on the truck. When I got the truck back with the replaced Aux battery, still no sensor warning lights. I think I saw some posts about a deep reset to clear the sensor warning lights.

Maybe something with battery voltages messing with the sensors. Early on, I had the warnings then they went away. Then they came back and stayed until the jump before the battery replacement and since the battery replacement no issues.

I just let the truck sit for 7 days and it started up fine, no hesitation, no sensor issues.

Got the truck back today. Both batteries tested 0 and were replaced. Seeing around 14v +/- now. Lets hope the fix is complete. Nothing was found to be draining the batts.

My RHO has 4200 miles I am on my 3rd battery set and has been at the dealer for 2 weeks now they cant figure out where the “draw” is… left me stranded 4 times already and told them either fix it or give me a new truck getting really frustrated now

This stuff is so frustrating. it's 2025 and Ram doesn't know how to engineer/produce a vehicle that doesn't kill brand new batteries?

Sounds horrible. Let us know what they find out please

It may be worth looking into lemon law. Obviously depends on where you live but many states will say three visits for the same problem without resolution is one of the ways to enact lemon law. It's not the dealers fault, they are likely doing what they can and have their hands tied by corporate (RAM). If you end up getting a new truck I'd think that is going to have to go through RAM and not the dealer (though maybe the dealer is cool and is willing to take your vehicle and give you a new one, then they figure out the lemon law stuff).
