I'm sure most of us have seen Burger Motorsports youtube video showing dyno runs on each of the maps/tunes available on the JB4. Anything Map 2 or higher required a minimum of 93 octane. The boys over at Burger threw some E85 into the tank to boost the octane up past 93.
As far as I can tell, the RHO is not a Flex Fuel vehicle. Does anyone know the reliability impact of mixing E85 with 91 pump gas to achieve this higher octane rating on an otherwise stock vehicle?
I am seriously considering the JB4 but being in California, 91 the highest fuel grade commonly found. E85 is more easily sourced in the Los Angeles area than 100 octane race gas. Wondering if I am better off going with the Diablosport depending on the safety of mixing E85 with 91.
