ECU DATA Collection

Wondering if we have any technicians on the forums. Is it possible to pull data from the ECU? I’ve found myself in a bit of a pickle and would like to know if Ram service can pull data like speed, rpms, etc…. Recorded by the ECU.

I dropped my truck off for PPF and Tint. I was not made aware tint was done “off site”. The Ram app pinged me showing the truck had traveled 1.5 miles. I google map the location and discovered it is a tint shop. I attempted to contact the Xpel dealer owner 3x; no call back. I did NOT give permission to drive my truck. It has 42 miles on it. I am concerned whoever drove the truck today may have compromised engine break in.

Not a tech, but did the app record the trip? It may have info you want. Example attached

Thank You for posting! I just discovered trip details. Looks like the truck was kept below 40 mph. I’m still pissed it was driven without my express permission.

I had Valet mode enabled. It sent an email instantly. That’s what I meant by “ping”. I haven’t seen if the RAM app can show notifications.
