Fender Flare Coating Peeling

just took delivery from Mark Dodge. great group and best dealer I've ever encountered. unfortunately I do have one issue I missed and after 1100 miles home I found the coating or protective film stuff peeling on three of the four fender flares. anyone else have this problem? waiting to see how they handle it.

Didn't know there was a coating. Thought they were just... ...plastic.

There is a film covering them for transport...surely he can't be talking about that? I hope.

I've heard others report this and figure out that it's adhesive transferred from the protective shipping strips on the flares. My guess is that the OP is seeing leftover glue and needs to clean it off. The dealer should have done so obviously.
