For those with RHO electronics/electrical issues…does this feel familiar?

My dealer says it’s the Fiat based electrical architecture…this has to be costing Stellantis billions (yes, billions with a B).

BTW, you don’t have to sign into FB to watch the video. Just hit “x” & unmute the audio.

In one sense this is not a bad thing as it verifies that a lot of our issues are likely due to a shit battery. The bad news is Stellantis is doing nothing and should be recalling their cars to swap out the batteries instead of waiting for people to get stranded somewhere.

This morning on the way to work, my passenger mirror blind spot light was flashing off and on like there was someone next to me, but there wasn’t. That’s a first for me.

I’ve had a total of 3 sets of batteries in my RHO. Until they fixed a module connection, the batteries would not maintain charge.

The dealer explained it’s NOT THE BATTERIES, at least for most. It’s bad modules or faulty connections that keep the modules awake & kill the batteries. Dead batteries are a symptom, not the primary cause.

I’ve since experienced periodic electrical gremlins. Guessing it’s just a poor/overly complicated design. If continuity is not maintained across many, many circuits & wires & connectors, malfunctions occur.

My truck does the same thing, but only in moderate to heavy rain — as if the sensor is picking up spray from the right side tire(s) at various times.

Interesting. It was raining this morning. But only the passenger mirror was doing it.

Same here. I noticed it at 300 miles and every time it rains it does it and it is always the passenger side. It has to be a design flaw based on what people are saying. All on the passenger side and only when it rains.

I have had all sorts of warning lights come up but they go away for a while and then come back when they feel like it. I traded a perfectly fine Raptor for this and I don’t regret it so I will run it until it gives up.

Mine also does it a lot in the rain, foggy weather or when the ground is bright with snow; it’ll pick up mail boxes, telephone poles, or nearby trees that are near the street as being in the kind spot

Anyone else experiencing a loud hum or buzz from the headlights especially when the hazards are on? Also random times when my front crash and brake assist shuts off and throws the light on the dash? And last some of the interior lights stay on for almost an hour after turning off the truck?
