Front Collision Sensor

While pulling in to the dealer for a separate issue, My front collision sensor went off lol. Just in time so they can see it. Luckily they had a loaner on standby. Anyone had the same issue ? How long y’all’s truck was in the shop?

Yea I just left mine im on one of the groups on fb rn seeing how long it took and whats the quick fix for it but most likely a module issue or connection hoping for the best because you got guys with their truck at the shop and dealer cant figure it out

Everyone who has this issue:

Have them check the Trailer Towing Module for a fault.

My truck threw this error, along with shutting down all the other Collision Avoidance Systems and Antilock Braking Systems.

My local service center replaced the Trailer Towing Module, and I haven't had an issue since then.

Leaving mine at the dealership next week while I'm in Hawaii for a few issues, this being one of them.

I was driving on the freeway a couple weeks ago and for no reason at all the emergency braking message came on and then the truck started braking for no reason

When I turned off pedestrian avoidance I had that light. Turned it back on no more light but haven't had it come on just because.

I called all they said was I have no recalls available haha sounds like there needs to be one to adress these electrical issues to many people have them

Y'all can take a look at my earlier posts after i Joined. The ended up having my truck for 94 days. Sorry for the crummy news. They kept thinking they had it fixed, and it kept malfunctioning. I went through the ringer with Ram engineers, Stellantis, and the dealer trying to figure out the issue. went thru the wiring harness, changed out sensors. AN engineer came to texas from detroit....was a whole ordeal......finally got it back though and everything has been perfect for the last 4k miles so finger crossed!
