Not sure but it looks like front is locked??? Is this not a problem. Took by my local Ram dealer and they did a diagnostics on the truck and no red flags showed up. Not sure why it shows locked? Can somebody help explain?

Your transfer case is locked because the truck is full time 4wd.

So this is normal on the RHO. Stays locked continuously?
Can’t be…or it would “hop” around turns on pavement.

Mine also shows locked. Not sure what’s locked, but the front diff is definitely NOT locked.

Ah…I thought the lock symbol was on the front differential. It is for the transfer case. My bad.

But, the transfer case really only “locks” when in 4WD hi or 4WD low. The rest of the time, there is slip. Torque varies to the front axle dependent on drive mode. For instance, in Baja, only 25% of the engine’s torque is sent forward.

Ram shows it as “locked” just to get the point across that RHO is a “full-time 4WD” vehicle. As previously stated, there is no 2WD option.
