Gear shifter handle replacement?

Does anyone know if the gear shifter handle on the RHO is able to be replaced with a custom shifter? My current pet peeve is that the metallic sides on the current shifter get cold in the mornings and remain cold for a long time. It also feels very cheap. I prefer to rest my hand on the shifter while driving, so this is a daily inconvenience.

If the shifter is not replaceable, is there a leather wrap / cover that anyone would recommend?

Buy some leather and wrap it around it? You’re the only person on any forum that has complained about it.

There were some made for the TRX but they were around $500.

The TRX has the same shifter. Might be a place to start. Can’t be that serious that you have to leave your hand on the shifter the whole time you drive…

That’s a big false. They used to say that with a MANUAL transmission but that’s never been proven. You’re welcome.
