Go rhino running boards droop

Hello everyone,

I am having some gorhino running boards installed today. However the brackets appear to leave about 3 to 4 inches of space between the boards and rocker panels. Is this normal? Am I maybe receiving incorrect brackets?

I ordered the rb20s. The istaller initially had an incorrect board installed and i had them removed.
This is the sales invoice..

I think these are backwards. Go rhino logo should be at back with taper right?

Yes they are backwards. “Bullets” should be facing forwards.

The installer gave me the option to reverse them. I like the tappered look in the front vs the back.

Not sure if there are any structural benefits either way though...
