Any hacks to trick the sensor into thinking you’re looking forward? It seems way too aggressive and turns off just by looking at radio or out side window. Would love to extend the time you can look away or trick it into think eyes are forward.

With all of the electrical malfunctions these are having, I would not advise looking away from the road for an extended period of time.

I tried hands free driving the other day. It’s not a very comfortable feeling giving control to the truck. But everything did work “as advertised”, I even activated the turn signal and it changed lanes and everything lol. Not sure if it’s a feature I’ll use much but…

I was using it when it decided to go into a left turn lane instead of staying straight. I tried it again the next day in the same place to see if it was a fluke. It did it again! I was stressed waiting to see what it would do versus just driving myself. I won't be using that feature.

Hands Free is great. I just did an about 500 miles with it and it was very relaxing. It did tend to ping-pong between the lines a bit, but otherwise excellent for long drives.

Rumor has it, there is a software upgrade coming for the EPS that will resolve much of the “ping pong” effect between the lines.

I’ve stopped trying to use “hands-free” cruise as the corrections to the left line get pretty close to adjacent traffic. I’m nervous & I’m sure the other drivers get nervous too, if they’re paying any attention to the road.
