Just kidding

I've already had it replaced once At around 800 miles. Was throwing codes, but no drivability issues.

Today, out of the blue, parked it last night and now, dead battery completely dead. Couldn't even unlock the truck with the key. Dead dead .

Jumped it, now a million codes as usual. Driving, voltage peaks at 12.8. Idle, sitting at 12.7

Keys both sleep on the opposite and of the house, about 240 feet away.

Dumb.....

I just got mine back after having a dead battery at 802 miles. Just hoping this was a one time occurrence.

How did you get in to pop the hood? The actual key in the fob?

I keep seeing conflicting info on jumping these. Just the main battery jump worked for you?

I'm not really up on all the latest forum stuff. Ibjsut jumped it like a normal ass car lol. The aux battery is tiny, definitely not for starting the truck.

Yeah, fair. Some people are saying that it doesn't work. Just checking

Replaced yourself or by dealer?

Well it wasn't a battery this time. They kept the truck for 4 days and finally determined it is a bad digital key control module. No idea what that is, but also hoping the part shows up sooner rather than later. Apparently it's a month out.

Sounds like you could have avoided the problem by not ordering tow mirrors.

I’m just kidding buddy

This morning I tried to start my truck, and to my surprise, it wouldn't start. It seems the battery is dead, but I tried jump-starting it and nothing happened. I even replaced the battery with a new one and it still didn't work. Has this happened to anyone else, or does anyone know if there's a post in this forum about a similar issue? I'm going to take it to the dealership where I bought it

That looks very similar when I had dead batteries. But I was able to jump start it and take it to the dealership. How long did you charge it for? We let it charged for good 5 to 10 mins before starting it

I put in a new battery that I bought at AutoZone. They told me the original one seems to have a dead cell. I tried to jump-start it for 10 minutes, and then replaced the battery (same capacity) with the new one, but it still wouldn't start.

My dealer told me both batteries failed so replaced both. Haven't had any issues since.

Try replacing the auxiliary-battery as well, also, the car it's hooked up to should be running, I would let it run a good 15 minutes before trying to turn it over

I had my new RHO for 5 days and jumped it 6 times before it wouldn't jump and I had it towed to a dealer. The dealer claims it needs a "Digital Key Control Module" which is on backorder. It's been sitting at the dealer for 15 days. I haven't set up my phone to use as a key in UConnect so I assume this part also controls the key fob or contains a receiver for the key fob. Has anyone else had this issue?

You jumped it 6 times in 5 days and only after that stopped working did you decide to take it in?
