I’m just about to hit 1000 miles. Up to this point, I’m very happy with the power and how smooth it is. My RHO is replacing a 2014 Laramie Limited. I still have a 2009 Laramie that I drive in another state. I just keep hearing all this hate on the new engine. I believe if it’s reliable, they have a winner here. Gas mileage isn’t the greatest, but that could be me being a little heavy on the foot because it wants to go. What y'all think?

I've have zero complaints about the power train.
Responsive, instantaneous power.

Took the long way home running morning errands so I could open her up on the highway.

Truck runs like a champ.

I still think mechanically it is superior to the Hemi.

I love it! Had the 5.7 Hemi in my outgoing 2020 Rebel. I love everything about my RHO. Like you, I've noticed about 2-2.5 mpg less on fuel economy, but I don't care. Totally worth it for me!

I owned 7 hemis from 2003-2022 prior to Hurricane (all 5.7L) so far I could never see myself preferring the hemi over than the Hurricane. Only thing I miss at WOT is the sound of the Hemi.

Agreed. There’s nothing that can compare to the rumble of a V8!
But other than that, I don't miss anything about the Hemi
