I parked after a short drive of maybe 3 miles leaving work and came out about 30 minutes later to wash the truck. I heard a high pitched noise that I thought was coming from my neighbors house. However I realized it was coming from under the hood. I opened the hood and took a video. I have no idea what it is or the exact location it’s coming from. Once again the dealer claims they’ve never heard that and I’d have to bring it in.
I can only assume it’s some sort of component de-energizing but I’m at a loss. Can anyone give an opinion on what it may be. Thanks

Might help to post the video up for people to watch/listen.

Where is it coming from the engine bay? These trucks make a lot of different noises. If the sound is a buzzing sound, and it is coming from the headlights, most likely a fan or failing ballast. If the buzzing or humming sound is coming from the engine, it is the turbos cooling down (there is a pump that cools the turbos after you turn the engine off). I believe mine is the latter (turbo pumps) and I have heard them many minutes (upwards of 20 min) after turning the truck off.

Sorry I posted. Video. I didn’t realize it didn’t attach. I edited the original post. Hopefully I did it correctly.

That’s not a sound I’ve heard before
On here. Sounds like one of those loud birds wedged itself in there somewhere. Lol

I’ve never heard mine make such a noise. It sounds like a whiny pump.

Might be the pump for the intercooler. It runs after the truck is shut down to keep cooling off the turbo's.
