This Tesla took one look at me cruising up the left lane and basically said, "Hold my beer and watch this!" as I moved over to the middle lane.

As I was moving to the middle lane, let's just say that the governor had me limited, and this Tesla was having fun with me...

Texas Tollways FTW! Where 80-90 is cruising speed. I do love flat, straight highways with high visibility. It's a great mix to run when able.

I tried messing with a white TRX that is at a business here all the time but he said nope and turned off. White one with no bed decals. (new M3 Comp XDrive with a JB4 ) would have been a fun run for a few seconds though.

But I agree....I usually cruise 80-85 in the express on 35E....and that's easy to do in this truck. Half the time I don't even realize I'm going that fast.

Yesterday, as I returned from lunch to work, a man in a nondescript, forgetful-looking SUV launched off the left lane of a red light.

It didn't end well for him...

Not because I whupped his ass in a 7800 lb truck...


No, it was a MUCH better win for me.

This is the type of win that makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

A lingering, painful wallet (for them) win.



You see, he launched off the red light and flew away from me in a notoriously patrolled, main road school zone. There have been numerous near misses involving elementary-level kiddos on this road. The town has a 100% FAFO attitude about speeding here.
This is a road where you set your cruise control to 1 mph BELOW the speed limit, while your butthole grips the seat as you drive through...

Anyway, I was just setting my cruise control back to 24, and he was about 5 or 6 car lengths ahead of me when the blue lights came on faster than a box of Krispy Kremes gets emptied in the parking lot of a Weight Watchers meeting next to a (420)dispensary.

I laughed my ass off the rest of the drive back to work.

street racing really brings out the low iq people. Everyday on Instagram i see some random section 8 idiot weaving traffic in some 20% apr 15y/o bmw. Almost always ends in a huge crash. so cringy to endanger innocent bystanders.
