Issue with Name on Title Paperwork Issue? Who at RAM to call?

Hey guys figured I would put a post in here! Seeing if anyone has any recommendations on who to call what department at RAM to handle my issue?
I purchased a new RHO recently and the title came in with the wrong name on it being a New York State title I don't believe this is even correctable without
showing a "new owner" making me the 2nd owner it would look like on my new truck.

Basically I always own and title my vehicles in my own name however for great insurance savings being younger still I insure the vehicles always in my mother's name.
The dealership screwed up and the title service they use for new york state registrations/ title work and put my mother as the owner on the title despite every form signed being
clearly only my name on everything for ownership.

Very frustrating and the dealership is not helping just ignoring the situation although they realize they made the mistake.

This has nothing to do with ram and i doubt there’s anyone you can call there at all. Either take it up with the dealership or the DMV. If you have a DMV form with your name on it that you signed, show the DMV that. If the DMV form you signed had your moms name on it, that would be a stickier situation and would probably have to be fixed by only the dealership.

Thanks for the help! I reached out to the dealer and DMV today hopefully will get this error resolved ASAP. Looks like the title processing 3rd party company the dealership uses made the mistake so hopefully we can get them to figure out how to make it right. Frustrating for sure!

Problem with a second ownership is that a second owner “ you “ will have to pay taxes on it… again

With 2 owners the government will want 2 taxes paid.

Work with the dealer. I had issues (NC) they put the wrong county on title and they screwed the tag too because I needed a “weighted tag” because of how heavy the truck is. That said, the dealership fixed both issues with the DMV in a month. I considered that lighting fast for a government agency .
