It’s not your imagination - Ram quality has nose-dived

It wasn’t by happenstance the CEO was removed. I take these rankings with a grain of salt but I must admit my 2014 2500 was as solid a truck as I ever experienced. So far my 2025 has been solid so no complaints. However there are too many gadgets on modern vehicles, let alone the RHO, it’s only a matter of time. I used to poke fun at my fellow electrical engineers in college but it appears they have won out. The average person cares just as much about infotainment interface (if not more) than their powertrain

I mean, that’s not totally surprising the year you do a refresh AND axe your V8 engine option for a more complicated I6 Turbo.

Not an excuse but you expect to have more issues the first year of a refresh. Hell Toyota had to recall their V6 Turbo engine.

Let’s just hope the problems get ironed out and they climb back up in the quality rankings.

It’s not incredibly reassuring that the most reliable vehicle still has 1.66 issues on average 😂

If you talk to Toyota owners, GMC, Ford etc… they are telling you the same about their vehicles. With all the gadgets there are so many points of failure that everyone is facing the same. On top, we all like the tuner, the lift, the better sound, etc..
It is not a matter of if but when.

And Dodge went from 300 to 180. Sounds right to me, no need to dig any further into this data before publishing it.
