Anything that one should know before installing the Jb4?

Tips on the install? Making it easier? Not fucking it up?
I saw for cat6 you want to disconnect the batteries but I didn’t see that mentioned in the videos. Is it fine to leave them on for the jb4 install?
Issues to look out for?
Any ragrets?

It's always a good idea to make sure the truck is fully asleep before you disconnect the battery.

30 mins, no keys near it and do not touch any of the door handles or any buttons inside.

JB4 specifically suggests only allowing the computer to shut down by separating the fob from the truck for 20+ minutes. This seems to be fine and I have had 0 experience since installing my tuner. I DO suggest uninstalling both batteries under the hood when installing a Roar pedal! But not for the JB4. Only regret, in LA, California I cannot find a shop able to dyno my truck and give me a read out for the horsepower increase...

My truck slams on the brakes on its own when driving and sounds like a musical symphony when I shut it down… so there ain’t no way of knowing when it will decide to flick on a computer during your 30min install. Just disconnect the battery to take its life away so it doesn’t do something crazy like sending your VIN and GPS coordinates to Stellantis when you’re in the middle of a tuner install.

I popped my hood open this morning... fiddled around for like 5 minutes... said fuck this and took it to my buddies shop and let his tech install it.

I sent him Burger's pdf and jeff halls youtube video... I told him about the battery... he said... fuck that brother... You do bodybuilding... I do cars... I got this... (lol he also said they probably recommend the battery thing because it might throw codes or some shit but he'd clear them out if that was the case)...

Anyways... I took a 30 minute drive back home and burned over a quarter tank of gas with an abundance of WOTs on MAP 2... so far so good. TBH might even drive better than it used to.

Lmao, I just did a 0-60 at 3000 and 3500 rpm with launch control… 5.0 and 4.9 on map2.

Last winter I got a 4.7. Not sure if it’s the Florida heat/himidity or my rho just sucks now.

I’ll try again in 3-4 months I guess.

Next week I’ll try map 0,1,2 back to back. If I don’t get some decent numbers I’m going to be very sad about this.
