Hey everyone,

Just wanted to make an intro thread. Little background it was 2011 I used to have a little Volkswagen GTI and one day in October at work we had a freak snowstorm. The heavy snow brought down a lot of the leaves that were still left on the trees and made the roads a complete nightmare. Needless to say my little VW was NOT up to the job with all the snow/flooded roads/ and obstacles down in the roads. That night I had to call my wife and let her know I was stuck in a ditch in Oakland and would be sleeping there!! Fun times.

As I was in the ditch I noticed a guy that I worked with (different department I didn't really know him well) came down the same street in his Jeep Wrangler and powered through AND drove over the little tree that was blocking the road. I saw his taillights fade away while entering the highway lol At that point I knew I'd be selling my stupid little vw and buying a Jeep!

And I did! I bought a 2012 JK unlimited and put 35s on it. It had the new at the time 3.6 pentastar motor with 285hp and it did exactly what I wanted it to do. Got me through some crazy NJ storms/snow/ and even had a ton of fun with it in the summer taking the top off and so on. After the JK lasted me many years I ended up buying a 2021 Wrangler 392. I've had that for the last 4 years and it also has done the same thing just with much more power! Anyway in the last few years some of the 392 flaws were a bit annoying. It has the same fuel tank size as my wife's 4 cyl wrangler. That's silly... Also as all Jeeps do there's a ton of wind noise and it blows all over the road at highway speeds when it's windy.. It's noisy inside and not the most comfortable truck to take on long trips.

Taking all that into effect and realizing over the last year I have been borrowing my friends F150 to use the bed for a few things I decided getting a pickup of my own might be the best move! I found this forum and found a post from Adam from Jim Glover Dodge and called him yesterday. He was great to work with and we had an awesome conversation. He answered all my questions and concerns and had an allocation for the exact build RHO I wanted! I jumped on the deal and put a deposit on the truck that is set to be built sometime in May.

It's a Silver 2025 with Level 1 package / Pano roof/ and bed utility group.

I got a great deal and I cannot wait to join the RAM club! My wife still has a great JL wrangler Willys with the 2.0 turbo motor that I can drive so I will still have the Jeep wave in my life lol Here are some pics of my old love as I wait for my new love to arrive.

Thanks everyone and happy to be joining the team :)
