Hi community!
Picked up my 2025 RHO used. Has 14k miles on it. Definitely saw some action from what I can see but not really that worried about anything yet.
I have however experienced some weird jerking on the fwy moving front to back. Almost like death wobble but nothing comes through the steering wheel. Strictly felt through the seat. But its fairly severe. Saw some posts that other Ram owners have had Control Arm issues and thats the sensation. Going to take it in next week. But wanted to get the groups thoughts.
Happens on a lightly bumpy fwy around 73mph. Most notably on the 91 around the 10 if anyone knows that area.
Thanks

If it’s a concrete fwy poured in sections, that is possibly what you are feeling. The RHOs longish wheelbase amplifies that frequency of undulation on those type hwys.

I’ve experienced it on the 303. In a car, you don’t feel it. I drove a 26’ truck down the same stretch a few years back & it felt like I was driving a bucking bronco. The RHO is not a that bad, but still very noticeable.

Couldn't hurt to take it in, but if it's happening specifically on one stretch of road, I'm with @RHOfan. You definitely feel the road a lot more in this truck with the wheelbase and the tires. Grooved pavement can surprise you in a hurry.

Also, my first thought from this thread title was "sounds dangerous, but do what you gotta do"

@RHOfan I have been down that section of the free coming home from the mtns idk how many times in a ton of different vehicles- Stiff evos, M340, Silverado on 10 ply tires. I figured it was the more stubby wheelbase actually causing this. Thinking it was shorter than my silverado (crew, reg bed). I did notice that if I changed lanes it would get better.

If they have anything to do with the control arms you would definitely feel it in the steering wheel. There’s no way any suspension component in the front of the truck that is capable of giving you the feeling wobble is not going to be felt in the steering wheel. Personally, I would wonder if you’ve checked Carfax on the vehicle before you bought it. It’s possible that truck had a catastrophic event.

I notice it too, not bad but it's there on cement freeways. Definitely road dependent, and more noticable in auto, sport seems to mellow the feeling out.

Just loosen the grip a bit

I did get the carfax prior with no accident on the report. Doesn't mean that it didnt happen. Just that it wasn't reported. I have it scheduled to take it in this weekend with service on Monday. Hoping they see something that makes sense. Looking forward to doing some mods after this issue is fixed.

You might not get the stains out of the Alcantara
