Launch Control Problem?

Tried using launch control today and was in the Apply Brake step and it's like it didn't recognize I was on the brake? Never seemed to advance to let me apply gas to actually launch. Am I missing something?

I didn't get into the throttle as it seemed like it was waiting on a confirmation of the brake being applied. So you're saying after it shows "apply brake" there is no further queue or indicator it will provide?

Yeah, just ensure you are pressing the brake firmly after the “apply brake” then smash the throttle and wait for the rpm to get up to your preset launch limit then let off the brake quickly.

Just FYI…my LC acted wonky one night…enter Race Options & be sure your launch RPM is set to 3500, or less.

After the steering software update, mine decided to default to 4K RPM. Too high. Truck won’t let you launch it at that RPM & if you try, it will enter a protective “limp mode”.

Also make sure steering wheel is pointed perfectly straight and press brake pedal very hard.

LC is funky in many cars. Sometimes it just requires you to drive around and try again or turn the vehicle off and on.

So my LC is acting goofy now, too. Tried to launch a couple times the other night and it does a couple of things. First off, I set the RPMs to 3400 but when I rev to launch it won't build past 2700. Then when I let off the brake to launch, it drops rpm and says "Launch Canceled" or something like that. It's happened multiple times now and I'm not sure what would cause it. Looking like a trip to the dealer.

Not sure I want my dealer tech repeatedly launching my vehicle to test the system, but I suppose they would only do it once or twice to determine if any malfunction.
