Lower Two Tone Paint Quality

Finally had a few nice days, washed the truck and found not a great job on the lower two tone black on my passenger door, looks like they didn’t hit the end enough while spraying and the silver is coming through the black at the bottom corner. Hard to take a picture of what it really looks like due to the reflection. Anyone else notice this ?

I have a couple of patches along the rear fender flares where the Hydro Blue seems cloudy, something similar to the above.

There are also a few spots of overspray and scuffs in other areas of the truck.

FWIW, my vinyl wrap guy actually complemented the paint quality, even with those issues. He said he typically sees far worse on more expensive vehicles, BMW, MB, Porsche, etc.

In this day and age, if you want to reject a vehicle for paint defects, you will probably never find one worth buying.

Only had mine for a few days and I saw a scuff just like that on the black bottom. Truck has only a few days on it with little usage where that scuff is. I am going back to the dealer Friday for an error and two small paint issues. Is this worth bringing up too? If that black bottom scratches easy I wonder if its even worth complaining about it....?

Mine had a defect around the front drivers door. It’s shit. Funny how a single color would be less labor/cost vs this black two tone. I would be all about a single FBM. Speaking of I’m still waiting on my driver door handle. Who would have guessed a national backorder.

Ram would make it easier on themselves if they just offered monotone colors as well. And tougher for them to f@#$ it up.

For the life of me, I can’t imagine why it’s not an option. It’s quicker, easier and cheaper for them. I wouldn’t even care if they charged the same as two tone and profited the difference.

I wanted monotone so bad that I bought black. lol.

Yeah, I bought Granite Crystal because from 5 feet away you cant really tell its two tone !! I'm pissed cause when I ordered I was only worried about hiding the two tone ! The next day I was kicking myself in the ass for not ordering Hydro Blue. I tried everything I could to get the color changed or trade the truck i ordered to another dealer for a Blue one ..... No dice !!! Sooooo Granite Crystal it is Just picked it up today !!
