Picked my RHO last week Thursday, made it to just about 100 miles that night and after auto stop/start kicked in at a stop sign my CEL came on. Took it back to the dealer the next day. They contacted me today to share the results of their diagnosis.

"The Diagnosis for the CEL & Auto Stop Start Light
Internal Failure of the Dual Battery Switch Module, The Dual Battery Switch Module (or Battery Isolator) Manages the flow of power between the two batteries (Primary Battery and Auxiliary Battery)
Essentially, the dual battery switch module/isolator acts as a safety net and power distribution center for the dual battery system, ensuring the primary battery is always ready to start the engine while also providing power to accessories."

The part however is on back order with no ETA, could be days, weeks, or months and they couldn't find one available at other dealers. I didn't want my truck to sit there for an unknown amount of time while they waited on the part so they agreed to let me come get it but cautioned to watch the batteries as this issue could cause them to die/go bad. So I ordered a battery tender to put on it at night. Personally would rather do this and be able to use it than have it sit there. Plan to call RAM to open a cares case too so maybe they can attempt to escalate getting the part and/or provide compensation if I do end up having too many issues and need to take it back to the dealer and leave it there.

Also tempted to do the battery delete for the time being to eliminate the issue all together....

If anyone has line of sight on that part let me know!

This part? It matches the name you used, and shows that it fits the 2025 RHO.

It's not available on that site, but can be found.

Yep that was the part, thank you! I showed that to the dealer when I picked it up but for it to be covered by warranty they had to buy it through their official channels 😕

With that few miles on the odometer, I would put a charger on the main battery and trickle it until it's been fully charged

It is likely that your truck sat for a while and the batteries just need to be topped off. Regardless if this part is faulty or not, it absolutely cannot hurt to charge the system up fully

My check engine light came on about three weeks into owning my RHO. My code is a crank case ventilation error. My RHO has been off and on at the dealership for about 3 months now. The dealership gave me a courtesy truck to drive and they are keeping the RHO to try and figure out the issue. I have owned my RHO for 5 months and have not been able to put many miles on it because of this issue. I have had nothing but issues with this truck. I am feeling very discouraged and disappointed.

Tell them to find other channels lol. Most Mopar parts sites are actually dealerships in disguise. For example, the Factory Chrysler Parts Site is actually the Thunder CDJR dealership in Bartow Florida.
As I understand it, dealerships can transfer available parts if need be. But only if they actually want to.

As soon as I decided to pick it back up I ordered a battery tender and plan to put it on every night until the part comes in.

They showed 5 dealers in the country that had the part listed as in stock. They said something about if they called the dealers asking for it they wouldn't be helpful and sell it to them.... They gave me the list and I'm going to try calling them as a customer and see if the dealers will cooperate....

Checked it this morning and both the main and aux batteries showed full according to the noco. What's weird though is the voltage the truck is showing when from 13.6ish when I last drove it before hooking up the noco last night to 12.5 volts this morning. Not an electrical expert but seems weird the voltage would go down with the battery being full?

I installed this a few months ago and keep it hooked up always. I have another one for the 911 and makes charging always a breeze

Attached is the official diagnosis from the dealer. I was able to contact another dealer that had the part and they are getting it transferred to my dealer. They'll call me when it's in to setup and appt to bring it in to get it installed. So far everything has been running great. Been putting the noco on it every night and battery voltage has ranged from 12.5 to 14.

Nice! Are you guys putting the Nico 5 on the main battery or sub battery?
i've just been doing the main battery, the first couple of nights after the main was charged i'd put it on the aux but after several minutes it would show the aux full too.

This is correct. As long as it’s a mopar p/n, it’s covered. Problem is dealers won’t help other dealers. So your dealer would have to pay retail for it and then there’s no money left for them. They could do it, they just won’t.

Update, got my truck back from the dealership last week. They found a bent wire that was grounding when the engine started and causing a fault. They fixed the bent wire and no issues since! I am happy to have my RHO back

Forgot to update this myself. The part came in and took it to the dealer last Friday for them to install it. Leading up to the appt I hadn't used the battery tender for about 4 days and haven't put it on since. Haven't had any issues before or after the part got installed. So hopefully no more issues for me!
