New RHO...rust concern?

Hello,

I recently purchased a new RHO. Traded my LC200. So far I am loving the new truck.

However, I was checking out the undercarriage, and i noticed some rust. Is this normal?

I’d say it’s normal, especially the driveline. That’s just bare, uncoated metal. Same on my 2500 as well

Just surface rust on bare metal. Not a concern, that will happen in about 5 minutes of being exposed to moisture. Body panels/frame are what you need to keep an eye on.

It's normal. Move on. Or remove the parts, wire brush and hit with paint.
