I am a current TRX owner (2022) and am trying to see how RHO owner experiences have been. For those who have had both the TRX and the RHO , how has the driving experience been?
From all available data, the weight drop offsets the power drop almost exactly in the driving conditions most are ever likely to use.Good to know. I do t care for the raw power or supercharger whine. I love power but I am hearing the thrust you back in your seat experience is pretty close.
Add the JB4 and put that extra 104 hp to the wheels along with extra torque and TRX will have to mod to catch the RHO. It was only 1/10 second slower 0-60 stock and 2/10 slower in 1/4. You can more than flip that.

The JB4 and DIabloSport about equal with the performance gains. JB4 claims over 100hp increase where the DS says 80 but on Dragy they perform the same. Either way you are cetainly in TRX territory or better.I don't think that's true. I prefer the RHO to the TRX anyway but many online videos show the TRX hitting 60 in 4 flat and even some at 3.9 seconds. TFL has raced a stock TRX and stock RHO and the trx won pretty convincingly.
From car mags in the quarter mile all had the TRX at mid 12s and some owners have achieved even better. Best I have seen from the RHO was 13.1 which is still very fast for a truck that size lol
I think in time the RHO platform being twin turbo definitely has room for some great upgrades in the aftermarket community. Although I'd be leery to do any of that until the 3.0 HO proves it's strength and reliability. That or there are some legit aftermarket companies that have some legit solutions to any of the trucks hardware shortcomings.

You all have to remember that the RHO is 150lbs lighter, has substantially better gearing and the torque values are better through most of the curve. I would bet that the tuned RHO takes the stock TRX. Past the quarter the HP of the TRX wins but both are limited to 118mph so its not that big a difference.
Remember its the torque that moves you and the hp creates the speed
YMMV but I love my RHO with the DS.

In fairness I believe Ram claimed 4.5s for the TRX and 4.6S for the RHO… so it’s easy to get there, but from what I’ve seen posted by editorials, the TRX hit 3.9-4.0s pretty easily, so there’s a much bigger gap than published by Ram itself.I'm not saying a tuned rho couldn't run with a stock trx. It probably would put up a hell of a fight. I'm simply pointing out saying a trx is only 1 tenth faster to 60 and 2 tenths in the quarter mile is not true.
Stock for stock. I'm team RHO but gotta keep it real lol
Anyone know when the 26’s start showing up?
Whoa, where did you see that info? I haven’t heard that from any dealer as of yet. I’m very curious when 26 order banks will go in, so we can see what if any changes will exist. The 26s hit production in late July, and will start showing up at the dealers in late August - early September..
