Not OP but I think they look cool. The same reason anyone does any exterior modification, 99% of the time it's for looks not functionality.

Interesting, I generally don’t do anything unless it’s functional.

Wheels if I wanted to lose weight
Exhaust if I gained some power
Headlights if the vehicle had sealed beams
Etc

Except for my red tow hook covers, everything I’ve done is for functionality.

I tend to be in the same camp, but I think a nice set of smoked cab lights would look good on an RHO.
