OEM running board paint

Did anyone paint these offroad style OEM boards?

I like the shape and how they are built, but checking on the other trucks I see their color is basically dark grey + they get dirty quite easily. The matte dark grey doesn't match well with the shiny black paint on the bottom of the doors that's why I would like to color match them a bit. I still want to keep the anti-skid surface though.

I Line X’d mine since they were 5 years old and a little faded.
