I ordered Jan 11th! Just one question I want a confirmation on...does phone as a key feature work with Android? I have a Samsung 22 Ultra.
The build site says just Apple and nothing about any others. I went on the chat a few months ago and the person told me just Apple.
Yesterday I found on Rams site it lists Apple and also further down a bunch of newer Samsung and a couple other phones that are compatible.
Can someone who has the RHO and a Samsung confirm if it works with your phone or not?

Here on the site it lists it: https://www.ramtrucks.com/uconnect/...ext=Ram app allows you to,Keys in the Ram app.

Unfortunately, this isn't even operational yet. Although it's listed on Ram's website, it is still yet to be released.

I have a samsung ultra and my rho arrives soon, I'll get back to you on functionality since I'm pretty tech savvy. I'm sure you are too since you have an ultra lol

Unfortunately it's only for IPhones

Yes sir! I hit a follow for you. Look forward to hear how it goes my friend. Mines still sitting in order confirmed I'm getting a little antsy over here lol. I'm fine waiting till spring today it's-12⁰ in MN. Would rather get it when I can rip around when it's nicer out.

You can not use your phone….Yet. When available it should be for both android and Apple products.

You are given Key Card with your truck that can be used with the proximity sensor lock/unlock, but you have to physically tap the key card onto the door handle which is lame. You can also place the key card into the wireless charger and use it to start and drive the truck, but so far that’s it.

The mobile option is not yet released and there is no ETA.

As of right now, all you can do with your phone is use the Ram app to lock/unlock/remote start your truck.

I have a 2025 Laramie and did a deep dive on this. Spoke to the dealer and UConnect reps who confirmed the app functionality for proximity and drivability will be coming “soon”, but no exact date.

Someone in Facebook posted that their truck got an OTA overnight and phone as key is enabled now

I don't have an iPhone so it doesn't matter to me, but anyone able to confirm for the group?

I’ll check this morning and see

No update on mine

Ok the guy posted screenshots but could be bullshit. Either way, just curious.

I saw that this morning, too, and got excited for some reason. Could be bullshit, for sure, but it looked pretty convincing. If it's true, he can't be the only one, right?

The OTA updates seem to roll out sequentially also, so maybe the next day or two it’ll hit.

Unless they're silently accepted and installed, I've never had an OTA on mine since March.

Popped up once and I clicked "schedule" and never saw anything again

Same with me. Popped up I hit schedule and never saw it again.

I haven't had anything pop up so at least you all have that going for ya...

We got an OTA update a month ago. Forgot where I saw it, but someone posted the factual service bulletin for the update via UConnect showing exactly what the OTA was for. I’ll try to find it…

My wifes Defender gets them pretty regularly. Screen pops up with the update, what it includes and the amount of time it will take. Vehicle has to be parked and locked for the update to install.
