Plastic Residue

This has been posted before, but I can't seem to find it. What's a safe chemical to remove the sticky residue left behind on the plastic fender flares? It looks terrible and it's starting to bother me.

Go though lots of brush and such and you’ll never see it again

As I recall, I soaked them with WD40…then cleaned off the WD40 with 80% alcohol…then, applied a light ceramic cleaner (Adam’s CS3) & they looked spectacular…still do!

Might try goo gone - but then you will have to clean it with something else b/c that's pretty oily.

Be careful will goo gone…it can break down the plastic…especially anything shiny.
