Positive News Story on the MPG front.

Just hit 1000 miles, got my first oil change and went on a road trip for Memorial Day weekend. Mid 70s, light winds and full cab/bed of vacation stuff, got 15.5 mpg average. Really can't complain honestly, great truck so far.

I just got my first hand calculated tank and it was 14.4 mpg, all around town. That’s about 2 mpg better than my PW was. I’ll be interested to see what I get on a road trip but I kind of expect myself to be a lead foot when I get where I can actually drive the thing and not be stuck behind slow pokes.

I am getting a consistent 14.7 with driving 75-85 on the highway now and rural driving...similar to my 21 Raptor.

Yeah, I was at 60 to 70mph most of the trip with just a handful of lights. So that's about right

3000+ miles on the odo. Got 15mpg driving from PHX to Southern UT. Lots of elevation gain. Kept speeds between 69 & 79mph, windows closed, AC blasting.

I figured the trip home would see 17mpg, considering the elevation drop 7000’ to 1800’, but only got 15.5mpg. It’s not all downhill…lots of peaks & valleys on my route.

I’m averaging 15.1 from ID up through MT, and do this drive every two weeks with pretty consistent results.

With every fuel up I get more confident that my decision to buy this truck was a good one. Especially once I put on the bed cover... I am seeing phenomenal gas mileage now when I drive around town (for a truck like this 😄). On the highway depending on the winds and direction I'm getting really good mileage there too. This was one of my main reason for passing on the TRX. My lifetime mileage is creeping towards 14mpg and I'm confident with discipline (because I'm always tempted to floor it) I can see 15 mpg by the end of the summer season. For reference my 2019 Laramie was getting 13.5 lifetime mpg when I traded it in. I did have aftermarket wheels and tires on that vehicle but still...

Yeah I’m slowly maintaining the 15 mpg, when I first got the truck I was 12mpg at best.
