I had a local shop put a matte PPF on the head unit and passenger screen. While at it, had them put a carbon fiber wrap on the two sides of the passenger screen then put matte PPF over the top. It came out great! The carbon fiber really looks nice. No more glossy reflection.

Really good thought on that, and even better execution!

Any noticeable loss of brightness out of that display after the film install? Do you feel it did a good job in cutting down the reflections? This was one of my top concerns with the passenger display - glare distracting me or my passenger. I’m glad to see someone arrive at a solution.

That looks really nice IMO. Sharp but not overdone. I was wondering what to do with the sides even if I find a good screen protector. As a side note, does anyone know if there is GOOD, quality screen protector on the market for the passenger screen? The ones on Amazon seem to get horrible reviews.

No noticeable difference in brightness really. I just keep the brightness set on auto. It did a great job on cutting down the reflection too. That was the main reason for doing this.

Brilliant man, absolutely common sense. Thanks for the idea!
