I posted some concerns I had the other day and got some great feedback here. Found an RHO about 45 minutes away, went and looked at it, and drove it home. I previously had 2 Gen2 raptors, then got into a TRX, and then a Gen3 Raptor. After the first week with the Gen3 I missed my TRX. Should of done more do diligence on my end, but I really liked my gen2 raptors so figured I would have no issue with the Gen3, but my gen3 was plagued with weird issues/problems and it just felt "cheap" for an $83K truck. I debated getting back into a TRX but I had a hard time spending $90k + on a pre-owned vehicle and there was nothing local, so to even find one required doing quite a bit of traveling. The interior of this truck is amazing, lightyears ahead of the raptor. The suspension is stiffer than the raptor but feels much smoother on road, I wont be able to get this thing off road for a few months to see how it does. The overall power is a step up compared to the 3.5L raptor, but its not a TRX. It does not have the exhaust note of the TRX or that whine we all love but overall I feel like this fills a lot of the voids I had with the raptor as far as quality/ features goes as well as a nice bump in power. If you are on the fence this thing is worth checking out and taking for a test drive. Very pleased with everything so far and hopefully it will be reliable. This has the level 1 equipment group, bead lock wheels, and pano roof. I have rokblokz and running boards on their way. I have an appointment for the bedliner and window tint next week. Any other mods or tips anyone has, please throw them my way.
